Together with Eleven Design, we are collecting letters about Bolsover and we’d love to read one from you.
We’re inviting you to share your memories of the district and what you like about living here.
Why? Because together we can make Bolsover an even better place to live.
It’s an exciting time for our district, and you can be part of it. We want to shape our shared ambitions around your hopes and dreams for the place you call home.
What makes Bolsover special to you? What do you wish more people knew about your hometown? Who should we celebrate a little louder? What should we be more proud of as a district? Which local spots would you like to see get some love? How would you like your community to come together?
Write a full-page letter. Sum it up in a sentence. Or do it in a doodle. Whatever works for you – we want to read it.

The letters will help to inspire future Our Bolsover Story activities. Many will go on display in a free exhibition and publication – showing everyone what Bolsover means to its residents.

Pop your letter into one of the special Dear Bolsover post boxes (no stamp required!) at:

Dear Bolsover is delivered by Dragonfly Development (Bolsover) Ltd, on behalf of Bolsover District Council, who are leading on a new place led programme. The project will form part of the place programme and “Our Bolsover Story”; showcasing the area as a great place to live, work and visit.
