"Living in Bolsover and being parents to two young children we want, like most parents do, for our children to grow up in a safe and prosperous area where there will be opportunities available to them as and when they leave school, offering them choices to either move into higher education, find employment locally or begin an apprenticeship. As a family we support Bolsover by using local facilities, shopping locally and attending events in the town such as the artisan market and lantern parade. I enjoy having a browse in Robins Return, a lovely gift shop right in the centre where you will always find something. The Pump and Sanctuary Inn are great for a coffee or some lunch. When the kids were younger we had an English Heritage annual family pass and would spend many weekends at Bolsover Castle, so we definitely got our money's worth.
